Senior Feeding Program

Senior Care Program

Each year during the hunger season, we identify and support the most vulnerable seniors in our community by providing regular meals to over 200 individuals for a five-month period. For many, this assistance is essential—ensuring they have the nourishment they need to survive and maintain their dignity during the most challenging time of the year. Every second week, participants travel to Mitongwe to collect their food, and we value this time together as an opportunity to gather for a shared worship service, strengthening both body and spirit within the community.

Meet Agnes

Meet Agnes. She is one of the seniors supported through our feeding program, faithfully comint to the Farm every two weeks from December to April to receive maize. With no family to care for her, no pension, and only minimal government assistance, she shares openly that this support is what keeps her going.

Agnes often tells us that without this help, she isn’t sure she would survive. Her gratitude is deep and sincere, and her sesilience reminds us why this work matters so much. Each visit is more than a distribution, it is a chance to extend God’s love in a tangible, life-sustaining way. Stories like hers give us the courage and hope to conitnue.
