The Mitongwe Farmer Outreach, generously sponsored by our partner Tree of Life Netherlands, is equipping community farmers with the skills they need to become truly self‑sustaining. We now have 125 registered farmers who are learning the core principles of agroforestry—growing food naturally, restoring their soil, and producing their own organic fertilizer using locally available resources. Each group is also establishing demonstration plots right in their villages, creating living classrooms where neighbours can see the results for themselves. This outreach is not just training farmers; it’s building confidence, resilience, and a new way of farming that strengthens entire communities.
