Baby Feeding Program
In the heart of Mitongwe, Malawi, families facing crisis are about to experience hope and healing through the launch of the Stand as One Ministry’s Baby Feeding Program. Rooted in the love of Christ, this initiative offers more than just food—it brings spiritual encouragement, practical support, and lasting empowerment to infants, toddlers, pregnant and nursing mothers, and vulnerable families. To ensure no child is overlooked, our dedicated nurse and assistants will go out into surrounding villages to identify the most vulnerable babies—those most at risk of malnutrition and poor health—and connect them with life-saving care.
Every two weeks, families will receive fortified porridge made with moringa and oil seeds, baby formula when needed, and fresh produce from the farm. Health workers will monitor children's growth and screen for malnutrition, ensuring early care and intervention. Mothers will be supported with breastfeeding guidance and nutrition education, while faith-based farming and cooking programs will help build long-term resilience.
During each distribution session, the community will gather not only for nourishment but also for prayer, encouragement, and spiritual care. Children’s Bibles and devotionals will be shared, and local pastors will be trained to walk alongside families in faith. Workshops on hygiene, child development, and sustainable farming will equip parents with the tools to thrive. Literacy and discipleship classes will further empower families to grow—physically, spiritually, and together.
🌟 We’re launching this program and actively seeking partners to join us in this mission. The good news? We have a generous matching fund of up to $27,000, meaning every dollar you give will be doubled to make an even greater impact.
Together, we can Stand as One—for the children, for the families, and the future of Mitongwe.
